Hey, I'm Kris!

I'm Kris Williams, proud owner of Legion K9, a veteran-owned dog training company in North Idaho. We specialize in obedience, detection, protection, and tracking for both pet and working dogs, delivering top-tier, tailored training.

My passion for dogs started at age 10 and grew during my Army deployment in Afghanistan, where I was inspired by their loyalty and skills. After military service, I pursued professional training, graduating from a 13-week Trainer/Handler Academy in Virginia, where I trained an explosive/firearm detection K9 named Laika.

Day Training

Looking for professional dog training without the need for

overnight boarding? Our Day Training Program delivers the structure, consistency, and expert guidance your dog needs

—while still coming home each night.

How It Works

Drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. Throughout the day, your dog receives focused

one-on-one training, supervised socialization, and exposure

to real-world environments. We regularly train in public

settings to build obedience where it matters most—in the

places you'll actually go together. You’ll also receive video

updates so you can track your dog’s progress every step

of the way.

Perfect for busy dog owners, our Day Training Program provides high-level results without the overnight stay. Your dog trains with professionals during the day, gets real-world exposure, and you receive video updates to stay informed. At home, you continue reinforcing the progress—with our guidance and support.
